SafetyNet Credit and DMP

Hi All,
It's been a while since I have posted on here. I stupidly took out many payday loans at once because I do not learn. And then I went on a DMP with Stepchange. Been on one before, was great.
SafetyNet Credit was one of those loans I took out, and then I was paying them back through my DMP. This was set up back in July 2018. But today, I wake up at 4am to find out they have taken £400 out of my account! This is about half of my wages, and now I can't afford rent, bills etc. This is the first time they have done this. If they did it the first month or so into the plan I would be okay, their system is updated. But 7 months down the line?
I have emailed them saying this isn't right, and I demanded a refund of the £400. As it's 4am, I am unable to give them an earful. But believe me! They will when their call center opens.
But my question is, am I in the right to receive a refund? What would you do in this situation?

Hi,
I am sorry. I don't know if you have any entitlement to a refund. Hopefully, someone else will drop by with an answer to that question.
Did they take the £400 out of your account using a debit card CPA or a Direct Debit? I suspect it was via a CPA. You can write to both your bank and SafetyNet to withdraw your CPA consent. I think another solution is to phone up your bank and ask them for a replacement debit card, stating you have lost it. That way, you will get a new long card number, that SafetyNet doesn't have.

I have an update. I rang them up, and they said that I need to provide proof that I'm in a DMP and then they will refund the monies.
