Payday Loans - Do not give up

Options
Hi All,

Thought I would post here as been an active watcher and been through the nervous mortgage process myself.

Payday loans were my main worry with some brokers saying I had no chance with 2 defaults in June 2018 and last payday loan September 2018.

However, my advice would be to be so honest with the mortgage advisers who deal with you.

whilst applying at Santander, I was completely honest about why I got into the mess I did and why I could ensure them that it wouldn't happen again.

Was told my Brokers that I had no chance of a high street bank lending to me but I am picking up keys to my new house this Saturday!

If anyone has had adverse credit and is worried, just be completely honest and do not go straight to adverse brokers who charge up to £2,000 (simply adverse, cough cough) - it is possible to do it yourself!!

The trouble is, your case wasn't a good fit for Santander and anyone looking at you and heading for their door is more likely to be disappointed than successful.

Strange things do happen from time to time, but exactly matching all your circumstances is a real stretch. One small detail might alter the entire outcome.

Your result is great. It isn't representative, unfortunately.

BTW the two defaults less than a year old are a lot more important than the PDL activity.
