State Pension EU national

Hi
My wife and I were discussing the state pension the other day and I wondered how it would work for EU nationals post brexit.
Just to be clear we are both in our mid 30's so I at least another 30 years to go yet also I was only really concerned about state pension (not workplace or private).
Anyway onto my musings, My wife has lived and worked in the UK for 14 years since leaving college in her home town of Bojnice (Slovakia) so has never had a paying job in Slovakia. She has worked full time since arriving and always earned over £15k a year so has paid full NI contributions etc.
I have seen some mentions of the UK government only paying 25% of pensions to EU nationals upon retirement ? Is that correct ?
Surely if my wife works for another 30 years and as such easily meets the 35 year requirement for NI then she should get a full state pension yes ? She has a NI card/number
Also she plans to get citizenship at some point in the next couple of years does that make any difference to pensions ?
One would think that if you have a NI number and you pay for 40+ years you get 100% of your state pension irrespective of if you are UK citizen or not ?
Is this correct ?

Nobody can guess what the situation will be 30 days from now, never mind 30 years!0

Agreed but as it stands the UK government does not reduce a state pension entitlement based on if you are a non citizen correct ?0

I can't imagine this 25% thing is true as we would have seen people kicking off about it - Their are 3+ million EU citizens in the UK many of whom are close or above state pension age so surely the government would not screw them over by taking 75% of the state pension that they have paid into for all those years.0

Can you link us where you have seen this?
That is correct. The unknown issue at this time is whether the pension will be increased annually. Under EU membership, it was. However, most non-EEA residents dont get the increaseSurely if my wife works for another 30 years and as such easily meets the 35 year requirement for NI then she should get a full state pension yes ?
Mrs May's deal would see the increases continue. Whereas no deal only sees them guaranteed until 2020 with no decision made beyond that point.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
