Hi,

Would anyone know if the household income threshold for EMA rises each year with inflation?

For 2018/2019 applications the threshold for 1 child was £20500 based on 2016/2017 income.

My DD will be applying in September and my household income is for 2018/2019 is on target to be £21500.

I'm just curious to see if anyone knows what the thresholds were for year 2014/2015 and 2015/2016 please?

I would hate my DD to miss out on the allowance because I earn marginally over the threshold. I have an option to pay an extra AVC to my company pension if it would bring me under it.

Sorry, I’ve no idea but would really like to know myself as my son will or may be eligible this September too.

No experience of EMA, but a google search found The little book of EMA 2013/14, which also stated £20500 threshold for 1 child, so it doesn't look to change each year.
