Lowells

Hi
I'm a newbie.
Not sure where to post really as struggling to find my way around on mobile phone.
Please direct me if I am in the wrong place.

I've had numerous letters from Lo wells regarding what I believe is a very old Orange mobile phone bill. I am sure it's over 6 years old and I am pretty certain I have never paid anything towards it or written to them ever acknowledging it.
How can I find this out?
They now sent me a "Dieections Questionaire" (Small Claims Track) for settlement / mediation.
Previously having sent me Notice of pending CCJ.
If this debt is statute barred can they still take me to Court?
Can I stop any further action. Ask them to prove it's not Statute barred?
Thanks in advance
