Overseas job offer (bank) & UK credit history check

Does anyone know what information companies such as First Advantage have access to as part of their UK credit history report?

I have no bankruptcies, no CCJs, IVAs or CIFAs notes but I do have one credit card which has been outstanding for years now, still unpaid, no repayment plan in place and what looks like hundreds of defaults. Any other financial commitments (i.e. mortgage, other credit cards, overdrafts etc) are however impeccable.

There is a lot on the internet about how your credit history doesn't go with you when you immigrate (being chased by debt collectors agencies further down the line aside), but pretty much nothing on how it can affect prospective employment.
