Search For Remote Work

Options
It's been a while since I posted here but life has changed a lot over the years as it has a habit of doing.

Anyway, I'm now in a position where I would really love to take up the opportunity to work from anywhere and not need an office location, whether this be my own business or working for a company and needing conference calls and suchlike I am very flexible. I just haven't worked in this way before so am trying to think about which jobs and routes I might possibly be able to make this happen.

Why? I've moved around a little bit over the last year and am actually spending a few months in America where I'm not allowed to work. Because of this I'm just paying my way and enjoying a lot of spare time. I likely won't be able to do this again though.

I could do it again in future if I had a job that allowed remote working but I'm just a little blank as what I could do.

Does anyone have any ideas or do this themselves?

Thanks for any help/ideas.

    'Remote Work' is usually synonymous with working from home but I deduce this isn't what you're after?

    To be honest, it's not really clear what you're asking;

    Do you want to work in the UK or the US?
    Do you want to travel a lot for work, is that the idea? Could you clarify?

    You'll find most Regional Sales jobs require travelling across the country visiting customers if this is what you were after? I used to work as a regional sales manager and I'd spend 4 days 'out' and 1 day in the office every week just driving around the UK - can't say it was particularly enjoyable but everyone's different.

    Without knowing your skill set, background and qualifications, it's a bit hard to comment. More info...?
  • Check out remoteok.io - not sure how relevant to your skillset though

    International courier?
    Googling on your question might have been both quicker and easier, if you're only after simple facts rather than opinions!

    You could try googling 'digital nomad' which I think is the new jargon.

    DS1 describes himself as a 'nomadic independent game developer', and he's one of the successful ones, but it took a few years to get there.
