Cheap Kitchen Appliances?

Hi guys not sure if I posted in the right place but I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good website to buy a dishwasher and tumble dryer.

Any clearance websites that you know of?

In my more frugal days I've bought new but cosmetically damaged - eg scratches or dents on sides - appliances at a big discount, knowing that the damage would be concealed in situ.

Didn't work well with Appliances Direct though, what they described as cosmetic damage was a washing machine that'd obviously been dropped from some height. Appliances Direct refused to deal with it so they've lost all future custom with me.

If buying cosmetically damaged, do it locally with a personal inspection.

There are also genuine bargains with collection only eBay items where people change their mind or change room layout and need to dispose of a good recent appliance.

  • White Knight have an outlet shop at their factory near Halifax selling discounted items with varying degrees of cosmetic damage

They are a good company to buy from anyway. Bought an (undamaged) washing machine direct from them last year for £25 less than any shop at the time. Good quality products, too.
