It's the Phosphoric acid in Coke and Diet coke that you have to be aware of, that is really bad for your teeth

i used to work in a soft drink firm and we used to use the acid to remove limescale on the bottle washer took about 3 sec to remove a big build up of lime scale but the gas given off by the reaction made u wear face protection
its put me off drinking colas for years
