Another question, sorry … first time buyer and very anxious!
Our application is in with Leeds and is in a queue to be underwritten.
I've given 3 months payslips and bank statements which show my salary being credited but i had 6 weeks off following an operation so some sick pay shows on my payslips (full pay so no change to my income).
Would they normally ring work to check I'm back/not likely to be off again? Or is it standard practice to call and check salary details etc? I'm asking as I gave my line managers details on the fact find but he's off for the next two weeks - I'm wondering if I should get in touch with someone elses details.
Thanks

It is highly unlikely that they will contact your employer at all.
This really doesn’t happen very often and if they did need a different contact then they would get in touch with you / your broker.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
