    Hi

I'm newish to Quidco. I've had an account for a while, but only reached £5.77 in 4 months as I haven't had time to do much.

Which of the trials are easy to cancel?

Was looking at Experian. Is it easy to cancel the trial and can I do that quickly? Do I have to phone to cancel or can I just click something when I sign in?

    Thanks :)

    Hi welcome to the thread,
did it through TopCashBack, it tracked straight away and I have been paid £6, I was going to do the £2 for a copy of my report through the post, (I think it is a legal requirement for them to do this), but I went for the 30 free trial instead,

as soon as I signed up I printed out my report, and then exactly 14 days into the 30 day trial, I cancelled it, by phoning them on free phone, 0800 6569000, not a 0845 number,

I didn't bother emailing them as they can deny receiving it, if you give your debit card details to them, they do not set up a direct debit, it is some other type of transfer, because you give them the big number across the middle of the card, this is what my bank said, when I went in to ask them to stop any money coming out of my account,

the only way around it is to get a replacement card, as this will cancel the transfer they have set up, I then also double checked that Experian had cancelled my account 4 or 5 days before the 30 day free trial ends just to be safe, be careful that you don't sign up for your actual credit score as they will bill you something like £5.99, this is the actual number that creditors see, to decide whether they will lend you money.

for a list of free trials check out the first post of this thread,

I think this post is out of date so you may find some offers no longer exist, there may be an updated version, some where on this thread.

Perhaps someone could ask quidco if they can get the above, CBK and GPB have it.

What if GPB pls? Looked at CBK but don't really want to sign up to another site where they take £5 off you
    thanks

CBK will waive its first year fee if uve paid 5.00 elsewhere, all u do is join then email CBK a screen shot showing the 5.00 quidco fee uve paid. CBK have daily clicks currently worth 41p a day which equates to over 140.00 a year + a significant amount of other no spend cashbacks, well worth 5.00 annual fee IMO.

GPB is getpoundsback, again 5.00 annual fee with daily clicks currently worth 55p a day which equates to over 190.00 a year + other no spend cashbacks available. Again worth a 5.00 annual fee IMO.

Which of the trials are easy to cancel?

My Movie Stream is easy to join and cancel. They are a DVD rental company. You sign up for a 2 week free trial and get £12 quidco. You get DVDs through the post and as long as you remember to cancel by the end of the 2 weeks and post them back you wont get charged.

Lovefilm do the same but when I tried to cancel the free trial at the end of the 2 weeks they said you need to give 5 days notice so I go charged for it and have now got unwanted DVD rental. (In future I will read the T&Cs!) They offered me BOGOF though so I will have these 2 months and definitely give 5 days notice before cancelling. I am staying in to watch a lot iof DVDs to get my moneys worth out of it. If you can be bothered with the effort you get £15.50 quidco from Lovefilm.

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks for all that.

May do the Experian thing then and make notes to keep checking that it really has been cancelled!

I'm going through the lists on this thread now, thanks :)

Have done Betfair and William Hill as I like to have a small bet occasionally. Done Betfair yesterday and nothing showing on my Quidco yet, although when I signed up they also had a £10 free bet offer if I deposited and bet £10 and both bets won, so i'm financially about £25 better off from them already and done William Hill tonight and gained approx £18 with a free £10 bet still to be used - so a good start!

I hope both track as will be very handy!
