Anybody tried the William Hill offer recently? It says you need to bet a minimum of £5 to get £10 cashback. I tried this yesterday (last day of the footie season proper) and when I checked this morning it had tracked at £20. I deposited £7.50 rather than the £5 required (not quite sure why!) and bet about £7.00 in total to leave a small amount in my account.

This could have been so much better as I put some of the money on Chelsea to win and also had a small accumulator with Chelsea, Arsenal, Middlesbrough and Everton to win. 92 minutes and 30 seconds into Chelsea's game I was in line for a profit of about a tenner then the Chelsea defence gave up and let Bolton equalise. Hope they get relegated next season the Blue losers!

There are much better ways to maximise William Hills offers. If you had used a promo code, you would have got a better free matched bet too.
I did this a couple of weeks ago, deposited £50, got a freebet worth £100, plus my cashback too.
Same applies for most of the other bookies offers. Best to browse on the boards for Gambling introductory offers...

  • has anyone ever has a transaction go from declined back to tracked?

This happened to my £4.50 from Pocado. I unsubscribed to it a few days after signing up (e-mails annoyed me!) so I never queried why it was declined. Waiting to see if it pays out!

    Hi,
I was just wondering if anybody has had their £50 Grand National Betfair transaction go from tracked to validated yet? It seems to be taking quite some time.confused-smiley-013.gif
Nope, mine is tracked (did so within minutes :) ) and has a payment date of June

I did see an advert in a tabloid about free bets but to be honest I'm not that much of a gambler. I couldn't bring myself to deposit £50 to get a free bet that by definition I might lose. As things stand I've made a profit of about £12.50 (would have been more but for the leaky Chelsea defence) and I'm quite happy with that.
The fridge is empty, the walls are damp, there's no hot water

Problem is that it originally said March, then April, and now May ( or at least mine and other posters did ).

Perhaps a sign of the banks hanging on to their cash as part of the credit crunch.

i got mine paid this month / last
