I was due to be declared Bankrupt earlier this week and have had it postponed till the end of April by Hmrc, I was on top of all our bills until Hmrc chased me for ebay non payment of tax, I have stopped paying all my non important debts, credit card hp etc as i thought it was going to happen, do I continue not to pay as the postponement is only 7 weeks or do i struggle on and pay them, I am at risk of losing my job or at best having reduced hours as i have been making mistakes and having time off due to the stress of it all,

Hi no point in paying for such a short period of time, if anyone calls you tell them you are working with a debtfree charity.0

Continuing to pay them once you know you're going to be bankrupt is just setting fire to money. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
