Ok, I have blinds in living room and bedroom, I can't drill a hole in the living room one as the end snaps (think as its in door frame it has a support behind it) ones in bedroom is because they are in window frame I can't drill in hole.
I was thinking sticky back pads for them, if so should I get thick ones or a pack of loads of small ones.
I was thinking maybe same idea for side of curtains, as is right now theres gaps at side but as they are nice curtains I got new I don't want loads of holes where I pinned them to edges (plus that doesn't look tidy)
I did buy some velco bits for it last year intending to use fabric glue to attach them to the curtains but not sure if thats a good idea as it may be messy and not reversable and hard to do.

Some blind holders can be attached to the ceiling rather than the window reveal/ frame. Is that an option for you?
To close gaps at the side of drapes, sites focussed on design recommend a curtain pole with a return rather than finials. Sites focussed more on reducing draughts to save energy suggest sewing magnets or magnetic tape, or hook and loop tape (~ Velcro).
Hook and loop tape can be attached to fabric in a variety of ways (eg. sew on, iron on) depending which specific product you purchase. The magnetic products slot into the side hems, some are in little plastic pouches to reduce the chance of rusting when drapes are laundered.

Thanks for that, does seem complicated though! I think the velcro stuff I have can be ironed on.
Not the end of the world its just I think tidier to close the gaps and plan to move the bed as well.0 -
Can't picture exactly what you want to do but if you have a bit that you can't drill into, try Sticks Like S**t!
It's strong stuff that you can buy from the likes of screwfix. We have a metal lintel that was a nightmare in our bay window. When a wooden blind fell down, I used this stuff to stick the blind holder to the wall and it's holding beautifully. You'd never know it wasn't screwed in.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...:D:D

Thanks for that, didn't check post in a few days I managed to get some sticky double sided padded tape stuff from pound shop that worked but did have to add a little more adhesive of my own to them.
Just going to be how to stick the wire for the roller blinds up without worrying if they break now, did try the pads so lets see what happens!0
