Remortgage after bankruptcy

I was in an iva 11 years ago it did not work so after just over a year I bankrupt myself through a company who deals with bankruptcy. I went to an insolvency court and declared bankruptcy after a year was discharged then had the official receiver charge me a fee of the intrest in my house.
10 years later I have equity in my house and want to remortgage 6 months later I have been told from the solicitor that the original solicitor that dealt with my iva put my house in a trust fund he will not release the charge off my property. How can this be I was told bankruptcy is a fresh start. Any advice please I am at my wits end tia

Have you calculated the equity with or without the charging order taken account?

Have much is the order for?
Unlike some here, I am not omniscient. If I am wrong correct me. I won't take offence.
