Prudential pension transfer

Hi,
Fairly new to the forum but i hope someone can reassure me.
This morning I received a notification letter from Prudential informing me of their intention to transfer 2 of my policies to another company - Rothesay Life plc once they have gained permission from the High Court on the 10th June 2019 (thats when the hearing is). They say that it is part of M & G Prudential's plans to demerge from its parent company.
They are quick to point out that it will have no effect on any policyholders and that they will still pay out on the same day and the same amount.
I retired in 2011 after paying into the PRU since 1984.
I have never heard of Rothesay Life who only started up in 2007, so what protection have I if in the future they go belly up?
