The CX3 isn't that much higher than a normal saloon. Neither is the Toyota C-HR. Marketing them as SUVs with higher ride height is stretching things a bit.
Have you looked at the Suzuki Vitara?0 -
The 'British' ones such as Grandland etc are poo (according to the press). I'd happily look at Ignis though, love the design detail homage.'Just because its on the internet don't believe it 100%'. Abraham Lincoln.

Not British built but the captur is high up and not massive. I used to have one and quite liked it.
I think Minis are built in Swindon? Not sure if their SUV is built there though.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. You do realise Vauxhall is just a UK-market badge-swap for Opel, bought from GM by Peugeot a couple of years ago? About half of Astras are built in Ellesmere Port, but nothing else in the Opel range. The Grandland's built alongside the heavily related 3008/5008 at Peugeot's Sochaux, on the French-Swiss border. The smaller Crossland X is built alongside the C3 Aircross at Opel Zaragosa, Spain. The 'British' ones such as Grandland etc are poo (according to the press).
British-built SUVs/crossovers : Nissan Juke & Qashqai, Infiniti Q30/QX30, Jaguar F-Pace and the full Land/Range Rover range. That's it.
The Mini Countryman's built in the Netherlands, and the Jaguar E-Pace is built in Austria.0 -
Im a tiny 5 footer and Im now driving a countryman and whilst at first it felt huge compared to my usual fiestas/corsa sized cars, I love it now
Its huge inside, but still quite compact. Fits 5 adults easily, bot me and mum can get in and out of it easily, and it can pack a lot of cargo in it0 -
