HMRC Bankruptcy

HI New To this forum all though iI have been looking at it for a while, I was due to be made Bankrupt by HMRC yesterday but they sent me a letter Saturday saying they had postponed it till April, Does this happen a lot? Iam now worried something is wrong

Comments

  • Possibly just a reschedule to allow them to complete end of financial year work that running over - or simply because they haven't finished your casework in time?
  • Hi thanks for the quick reply. It’s amazing how worried you get about the smallest thing. As it will happen mid April now does that mean I will have an nt tax code for a year?

Yes, an NT code is likely if the BR is at the start of the financial year.
