    Fair enough, I just wouldn't expect future work if you kick up too much of a stink

    That's alright. As I said, probably won't do any more anyway because one thing had been agreed with them and now it feels like they're taking the p##*. I'd have thought, since they're short staffed and struggling to cover these, they'd be a bit different but goes to show....
  • Was referred back to the employer by the agency. Bit resistant at first but then i asked them to send me the policy document stating that breaks were mandatory on these out of hours standby shifts, which hours they wanted me to be unpaid and therefore unavailable, and who was covering them during that time (as suggested by getmore4less, thank you). Funnily enough they changed they're minds.
