Advice re RBofS loan with Loanguard and on DMP

Evening all! Just wondered if anyone can help me - we have a loan with RBofS on which there is Loanguard to cover unemployment, death, etc but we have just started on a DMP so are only paying a smaller amount to the loan/loanguard. I would assume that we would never be able to claim on the loanguard as we have defaulted on the loan. Should I cancel the loanguard part of the loan and can we claim anything back? We have not heard one word from RBof S since starting our DMP two months ago so any help would be great .:T

  • Hi, i was just wandering how the RBS were with you when you entered into a DMP, i have just cancelled my loanguard insurance with the RBS as it was costing over a £100 a month alone just for the insurance, i am in employment that pays less than my other job and to be honest the RBS have not been very helpful at all!!!!!!!!!
