Mortgage Advisor

Options
Hi all, wondering if anyone in the South Wales area (Newport or Cardiff) could recommend a good mortgage advisor.

I’ve been discharged 5.5 years, and have just been given notice by our landlord as he needs to move back in so I thought it would be a good time to buy if possible. Would be looking to use help to buy with a 10% deposit.

Have been working on rebuilding my credit score with a capital one credit card, I also have my second car fianance with a prime lender now after settling my first that was with a sub prime lender so everything is going pretty well so far.

My partner has a squeaky clean file so we were hoping we could get approved, the rate isn’t important as we intend on remortgaging soon after, it will all drop off my report this November.

Can anyone recommend a good mortgage advisor that could help us get approved? We got given notice last night so need to get things moving as soon as possible as we don’t really want to rent again if it can be avoided.

We intend on going to visit the sales office at some local developments tomorrow, and hopefully see an adviser if we can get in the same day.

Just to update, I used a standard mortgage advisor who placed with Principality Building society and secured a mortgage with no issues at all with 5% deposit fixed at 2.3% for 5 years.

Received mortgage offer approx 1.5 weeks after application and Completed 3 weeks later.

He hasn't been back since December. There's brokers who post on the mortgage board of you want to message them.
Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.
