Submitted bankruptcy online, how long should I wait to open a new bank account

As the title says. I've finally submitted my online bankruptcy application and will be opening a new bank account.
Ideally I don't want the new account to be frozen. If I was to open a new account now, would it be safe or should I wait until I have had the confirmation phone call/email that I am bankrupt?

I may be wrong sometimes, I learn a little every time I'm corrected.

I had a look at the Nationwide FlexBasic account application earlier this morning, they won't let me submit an application until after I've been declared bankrupt. On a side note, last week I setup my income to go into my wifes account temporarily so living without an account for a few weeks wont make my income hard to access.I may be wrong sometimes, I learn a little every time I'm corrected.0

Well if you've set on a nationwide account wait till your OR speaks to you then print off a copy of your bankruptcy entry (here) just in case the bank asks for proof (some do some dont nationwide asked me for proof in 2006 when I went BR)

I'm not 100% set on Nationwide, the main two who are recommended are Nationwide and Co-Op. Should I need it the nearest Co-Op branch is in Essex (about a 90 minute drive from here), Nationwide have 2 branches within a 15 minute walk.
I suppose I could apply for a standard Nationwide account and then apply for a basic account when I'm declined (which I no doubt will be as I've recently failed an IVA to go bankrupt instead). I submitted the bankruptcy application on Saturday, although they have 28 days from what I gather I will probably hear back about it tomorrow.
We've always had joint accounts, so not much has changed there other than I don't have my name on the account or a card for it.
How have the last 12 years been since being discharged?I may be wrong sometimes, I learn a little every time I'm corrected.0 -
Update (about an hour and a half later), my status has changed and I am now bankrupt. Better go open an account with Nationwide now.I may be wrong sometimes, I learn a little every time I'm corrected.0
