First Time Buyer Advise

Hi Every1

So we have passed checks with broker and Mortgage offer is with Natwest. We have had our offer accepted on a house yesterday. We will be having meeting with broker on Monday. I'm wondering my last 3 pay slips show sick pay as i took leave after maternity due to anxiety. I have returned to work. My contract also says temporary but I have been working in same place for 11 years.

Do you think this will stop my mortgage going ahead?

    Are you a temp worker or do you have a permanent contract? They may write out for an employers reference or ask for a letter from the employer to confirm your employment.

    You might want to consider getting your contract changed to permanent to give yourself more protection
