I just found out about a fantastic money save for David Lloyd. I purchased a not publicised Founder Membership deal from David Lloyd in Sudbury Hill and I now pay £97 a month for me and my partner and two kids to go to David Lloyd. That works out less than the council gym.

What is even better is that I can use any David Lloyd, including the really posh ones.

If you are interested in joining a gym, I strongly suggest that you speak to David Lloyd and ask them about buying a Founder Membership. These are not publicised and may be limited in number and are certainly available from Sudbury Hill, but maybe others too.

Do you know if there are any restrictions on who can obtain a Founder Membership?

No restrictions. On the contrary, you get to use other clubs, so it seems to be a higher tier of membership.

All four of us, my partner and I and two kids get to use the gym for less than £100. That is less than £25 per person per month.

You just need to ask Sudbury Hill Membership team about taking on a Founder Membership. There are only a limited number, so you need to get in quick.

I have just telephoned david lloyd at sudbury hill and they told me these memberships no longer exist as they were for original members.
did you buy yours recently?

That is odd as I just obtained one. Contact the Membership team and ask them if their are any founder membership resales available. Do you know who you spoke to?

I will have to check when I get home. Just call the membership team - I am sure someone will know about it.
