I've got conkers on my windowsills in my toilet bathroom and bedrooms, i dont care about the downstairs as it's easier to kill them then.
And i dont care what they get rid of, i have an irrational fear of them so they have to die.
Same here, have some conkers on my bedroom windowsill.
I have an irrational fear of them too - if they are still then they can go in a glass and wait for OH to throw them outside - if they run then they have to die! :eek:working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
I think they work, e had the usual tarantulas at the beginning og September, sheer desperation made me give it a try, and from at least one a day, I haven't seen one since apart from a couple of weeny ones coming in the window:j Now that I've posted this they'll probably come back:eek:0

I am very scared of spiders, but haven't been able to kill them since reading Hucklebrry Finn when quite young - anyway, they are useful and it's not their fault they scare me! In times past my OH would come home to find me stood on chairs in odd places, pointing and waiting for him to deal, but now I have the super vacuum spider catcher and I am independent once more!

Oh newleywed, how cruel, I don't like them in the house either, I just collect them on a fluffy long handled duster, they cling to the fluff and then I put them outside. I would hate to hurt them.
I only hurt flies as they are germ laden things, I chase them around the house to the death:rotfl:0 -

What if they run down the duster onto your hand - or fall off into your hair  Nope sorry. It's a glass and card if they stay still but if they run then it's their fault!!!working on clearing the clutterDo I want the stuff or the space?0 -
