Checks are checks nothing more. Little point in winding yourself up unneccessarily.
As for the building perhaps the surveyor is aware of something. After all they'll be extremely knowledgable about matters in the local market place. Potentially more so than the EA and your broker.0 -

We've been told other lenders have approved mortgages in the same building without asking for this report. It just seems very out of the ordinary. :mad:0
