With no other indicators, the assumption is addition, so:

3 Peaches = 24, Peach = 8
Peach + 2 Pairs of Pears = 18, Pair of pears = 5
Pair of pears + 4 (count them) Bananas (or peapods?) = 29, Banana = 6
Finally:
Peach + Pair of pears + Banana = 8 + 5 + 6 = 19
