Different pots and now abroad

Hi

Bit of a complex situation - my oh is 40 and has a number of pension pots from different jobs, 7 in total plus the current one which is out of the UK where we are working at the moment.

the current pension is working well and will give us the income we are looking for in retirement but if/when we move back to the UK can we transfer it?

Also the other pots ranging from £2k to about £25K, are we best leaving them where they are or transferring them into one? Do I need to pay for advice?

I have been looking here for a while but would appreciate any pointers, thanks!

Check with the scheme whether the country you are in at present (and the particular scheme) permit transfers to UK registered pension schemes

Also the other pots ranging from £2k to about £25K, are we best leaving them where they are or transferring them into one? If you can get lower charges for similar fund performance, moving them makes sense - other wise leaving them looks the better optionDo I need to pay for advice? Depends if you are happy to make those checks for yourself - not rocket science, but not that easy if you aren't familiar with the minefield known as pensions

I have been looking here for a while but would appreciate any pointers, thanks!

    Hope the above comments help.
