  • For the sake of future-proofing I'd advise against any built in freeview tuner. Whilst this may offer simplicity it does not gaurantee access to the full range of digital programmes planned for the future. Sky have already submitted plans to change their programmes to a subscription package which would likely require a new receiver, and what about terrestrial HD programmes planned for the future, are all integrated sets capable of decoding then displaying the resulting picture ?

    Just my thoughts.

And watching any action such as sport or films on a 1080i Hd tv like the Beko will drive you mad becuase of the fast moving image blur.....save your money til all this changeover nonsense is sorted out.

Hd freeview isn't available so whats the point of 1080i HD tv's

You are best off with a non freeview HD tv if its not 1080p unless you watch the analogue signal the image blur will drive you mad.

Has anyone tried connected their PC to it? What is the picture quality like if you play a DVD off your pc?

    Thanks,

    Nick.

I got a text through today saying the model was back in stock.

I reserved one, got to store but now its £279 is this still a good deal? i have one day left to decide before it's no longer reserved for me
I would have used my own initiative if someone would have told me to!

I got this TV from Argos last week and its great. I have put it in the bedroom and its a great picture, sound etc works fine with sky, no problems at all. I'm very pleased with the quality considering the price, well worth it
