Will getting sofa finance before completion affect mortgage?

The sofa finance has not started yet because we are not in our home. Would this affect my mortgage completion and do halifax do another credit check? Can anyone help me

Some banks will do another credit check if it's been a while since they issued the offer, some don't.
Most advise not to get any credit between offer to completion as this could affect your affordability according to the bank which could mean they revoke the offer.
My advice - wait until you've completed, it'll save any doubt.0
