Hi.
Anyone recently had a mortgage with Yorkshire building society. Seen a house I want but looks like I'm going to need to offer more than initially planned for it so need to put more money into the deposit which I can't do for another couple of weeks when I get paid. Do they ask you to prove deposit ? Can't see it mentioned on application form. Ybs seem to be only bank willing to give the funds I need ( based on agreement in principle)

Out of interest, how do you know that YBS is the best lender for your situation? In your place I would definitely talk to a broker. There's no need to spend any money on it, plenty of fee free brokers referred to in the MSE mortgage webpage.stephen.rooke wrote: »Hi.

We recently applied for mortgage via Accord who are part of YBS group and yes we were asked to provide statement showing proof of our deposit, so they may be the same.0
