Spouse's assets my bankruptcy

Hope someone can help before I seek legal advice and pay a small fortune! I have no assets, but over £100k debts, so advice is to apply for bankruptcy. All debts accrued when with my first husband over 10 years ago, and all creditors have been accepting £1 per month (none of them putting any pressure on me). If I go bankrupt is the 50% share my husband has in the property we are living in at risk? Any advice on how to manage this? Thanks

Hi, do you own the other half?0

Sorry I didn't answer the question, no his assets remain his.
The real question is do you have any beneficial interest in the property just by living in it.
Things to consider are do you pay anything (%) , how long did partner had house before you moved in, what equity has built up since you moved in etc
You are going to want professional advice if so, a good first port of call could be step change, they are free.0
