Hi can I still claim back PPI for a mortgage I had back 2000 with the black and white mortgage company ? , if so how do I go about it as I have no paperwork etc

Did you take the mortgage out directly with them or was it taken via a broker - if via a broker then this would’ve been pre-regulation and therefore a non-starter I’m afraid.
If taken directly, contact them with as much information as you can to enable them to try and locate you on their systems - please keep in mind that many lenders do not keep records indefinitely and if they are unable to find anything and you do not have any paperwork then again it would be a non-starter.0 -
Post in the PPI thread and state in there why you think you are due compensation.
Note that merely having bought PPI does not mean you get compensation.0
