So you are suggesting not to pay off the 10% each year nor the total mortgage as I'm getting more in savings interest?

if you can get more interest saving than you pay to the lender why give them their money back?

    Read up on Stoozing.

Borrowing money cheap to put in savings that pay more.

there is a bit of hassle going out to borrow for small savings but you already have the borrowing so less work and with monthly savers paying 5% that's a 3% margin

Thank you getmore4less. I'll resist the temptation to be mortgage free and keep on saving!
