in Gone off!
When branded cokes went up to £2 a bottle (and I have autistic kids that aren't fooled by pouring unbranded cola into branded bottles) I bought a soda stream. They both like the coke made from sodastream syrups.
Obviously I only want to make cola drinks, so have to buy the syrups. I found my usual online retailers were quite expensive (Amazon, over £9 a bottle making 7-9 litres). But Lakeland did the same bottles for £3.99. Now they are £3.19 a bottle. I dread that they are reduced because they are going to stop selling them! Buying extra at the moment.
You can also get the refilled gas canisters from them.
Making cola this way saves me a fortune.

I would have thought with the move away from plastic bottles, they would want to encourage people to buy a soda stream and its syrups, rather than stop selling them? Live in hope, as they say.....0
