Are pension payments income?

Hi. I lost my husband almost 6 months ago. We have 3 small children. We receive a monthly pension allowance from his work. Does this payment count as income? For the purposes of tax credits to help with childcare costs for example?

The money you receive wont be coming directly from your husbands employers but through his pension providers and will count as income.I started out with nothing......And still have most of it left:p0
