    can't help with the mortgage but to open a thread of your own (which would be more useful to you) go to the page wher all the mortgage threads are listed. somewhere onthe page (usually top left) there is a new thread button you can and reask your question.

    I would try and add a bit more information - are you married (I guess not), are you looking to buy her out of the property you are in or to buy a different house (I guess the latter). Are you splitting, what terms did you buy the house under

    can I ask, if just generally looking to remortgage again at the end of August, how soon so I look into it? No new jobs etc, so don't need to leave it late etc. Thanks

    Offers can last 6 months or more.


    We have had offers recently from HSBC and Coventry BS and both last 6 months from date of offer (which can take 2-4 weeks to get to).


    This means you can start looking now :)
