How do I put my name on the deeds of my mothers house

Have you taken legal advice? Can you not go to the bank that holds the current mortgage and see what they can do in terms of transferring the mortgage to your name along with sight of probate confirming the property is to go to you? Technically the debt is in your mums name so you should not be paying it. This seems a little bit like a chicken and egg situation and should not be difficult to sort out with the banks cooperation and sight of the legal documents which is probate. What else do they need you to do? Why can't they give you a mortgage for the £92k?
Anyone buying a new to them house will not have their names on the deeds so I think the bank are being a bit obtuse here. If they insist can the solicitor transfer the property over into your name even with a mortgage outstanding?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards.
