Marks and Spencer closures

Hi sadly our M and S closes 4th May and I wondered if anyone had experience of a closure, do they do massive reductions or just reduce the amount of stock going in?

One of the latest closures announced recently, do not think which branch is relevant, it's customers views from from the branches already closed I was hoping for.
I worked for them in the 70's when 98% of goods were manufactured in the U.K, a very different business today ..such a shame.

I don't know for sure but being that M&S have several outlet stores around the UK; I doubt it. The marking down wouldn't be worth their while and worth the staff time when it can just as easily be shipped of elsewhere and re-labelled or given to another store as stock. They are already trying to save costs and I'd have thought there would be more lost in marking down with the hope of selling some and transporting the rest rather than transporting only.
