Hi guys,
As above, I'm a 35 non-smoker with looked after teeth. What are your thoughts? As in, yes/no. Home or professional application? Your personal results etc. Lasting effects, does it cause any long term damage?
Thanks.

Does it really need doing that often?
Once done, then it stays pretty stable for years. I do sell extra syringes of the gel to my patients - but I try to discourage over-doing it. Normally, it's only surface staining that is spoiling the effect - and the regular hygienist appointment generally keeps things nice and sparkly! How to find a dentist.
1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.0 -
I use the gel for 3 days. Should I use it for more that 3 nights to get the maximum effects. Its the gel that you wear in trays for 1 hour and a half0

Always use it how your own dentist instructs you, rather than anyone on the internet.
I'm not sure exactly what system you're using, so I can't say if you're doing it right or not.
All I was saying was that if you've done it - then the results shouldn't noticeably fade that quickly, and if they do - it's probably something on the surface, rather than within the colour of the tooth that's changing.
A more effective way to brighten it up again would probably be a hygienist appt. This would not only brighten the teeth, but get rid of plaque & tartar build up at the same time - which re-doing bleaching doesn't do.
I would guess the two things are a similar price, maybe a bit dearer to see the hygienist - but the hyg visit would also give you an oral health gain, which bleaching alone doesn't.How to find a dentist.
