Hi, just wondering if someone can explain why my state pension forecast is higher than the £164 a week a lot of my colleagues are seeing on the .gov website, it's showing as just a few pence short of £190 a week?
Thanks
Thanks

You will have accrued more SERPS/SP2 (additional State pension) than your colleagues. Every case is different, as everyone will have a different SERPS/contracted out history.
The good news is that your £190 per week is fully protected under the transitional arrangements. The bad news is that it will never increase (apart from annual cost of living increases) regardless of how much longer you work/pay NI.0 -
Many thanks for explaining, much appreciated, had no idea whatsoever why it was showing at a higher rate.0
