Finding mortgage

Options
Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has experience with zero hour contracts and mortgages. Me and my husband currently own a shared ownership home that we would like to sell.

I earn £22,000 and my husband earns £16500 but is in a zero hour contract, he has worked the same job and hours for 5 years.

Anyone got any experience with this?

  • With 5 years in his zero hours contract there will be options.

Probably one for a Broker as they will know which lenders are happy with zero hours contracts and how to calculate the income for affordability.

There are some great free brokers out there who could help - I don’t see any issues if he can prove consistent income over 2+ years
