Getting a mortgage after bankruptcy

I was made bankrupt 13 years ago and have been told I won't get a mortgage now from a high street lender. Has anyone got any advice? I'm pulling my hair out.

It is possible. I a former bankrupt with a repossession, I got a mortgage 9 years post BR. I went through a broker.2019 MFW No. 74 £13700/£30000 (45.66%)
12k in 2018 No. 98 £6274.19/£18000 (34.85%)

You have been fed nonsense - most mainstream Lenders have no problem with this.

whoever told you that wasn't a broker (or a very bad one)
as long as your conduct has been good in the last 6 years then this is a high street case
