Hello,
I'm new to this forum hoping someone can help me with this mystery...
On Monday and Tuesday, I was searching remortgaging options, and contacted my existing lender, other bank I have an account with, and used the search tool in Money Super Market with which I had a phone call from London & Country and discussed an option. I'm fine with these options and researching further.

A problem occurred today, as I received this mysterious posted letter from Oakwood, regarding: "your relationship with our colleague Mxxx Jxxx, of Paramount Money. (...etc..) Mxxx recently transferred the management of your (my) finances to ourselves, Oakwood". (...etc..) "Welcome to Oakwood" ... and so on.
I have no idea who they are and why they sent me such letter, but I did enter my address in a box on the few websites during my search mentioned above as prompted. Could that be a reason for the letter (my existing lender or the bank or London & Country would have passed my information), or would I have entered my address somewhere I should not have?
