How long did Brittania take to underwrite your mortgage?

Hi ,
My husband and I are itching to buy a new place and we are currently the only ones left in a short chain that are waiting for our mortgage to be sorted. Things are underway but we are waiting for them to do the credit checks...and whatever else they do.
Just wondered if anyone else has recently got a mortgage with Brittania and how long things took to go through?

ask your broker he should be able to chase up the offer0

You probably wont have a broker as Brittania are silly and dont pay them, they gen have good deals so they would do well if they paid a commission!

No broker - tried going through L & C but they couldn't beat the offer that I had with Brittannia.
Anyone else know?0
