Pension scam - update (after 7 years...)

Many years ago (2012) I documented a pension scam on this forum - the thread is locked, but still available at this link - https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4136723/diary-of-a-pension-change
I happened to think of this today and looked back over the thread. One of the posters, ffacoffipawb, posted details of the person who registered the website and from idle curiosity I Googled the individual. The first link was to this article detailing that he had been jailed for 4 years in 2016.
Just as well I never did buy any of those carbon credits
However, I do find it a shame that it takes so long to shut down these rogue operaters and that some individuals lose money due to naivety, greed or whatever. Still, at least there were consequences which I have to admit I wasn't expecting to see.
