Help me if anyone can!

We have a secured loan with First Plus, the repayment is getting very high because rate. My older daughter was diagnosed with two brain tumours and husband had to give up work so that someone can look after daughter. We let First Plus knew the situation and ask them to reduce the repayment for the time being, they ignored all our letters but insisted that we have to pay the full amount. We are three months behind now and they are threatening us with legal action. We are desparetly try to keep everything as normal as possible. Can First Plus repossess the house without the agreement with my mortgage provider- Halifax? Help me to solve this situation if anyone can!

I would suggest you go over to the debt free wanabee board and post up full details of you situation..income, spending debts, house price, mortgage details and general circumstances.
Its not possible to give good advice without knowing the full details and then you will be able to see all the options

There's already a charge on the property - it's a secured loan. Yes, they can get a possession order without agreement from the Halifax. Advice to talk to National Debtline seems good.
