closing my debenhams account

anyone know how I go about closing my debenhams store card????? Do I need to phone up first or do I need to write to them?

I closed mine by calling the number on the statement (also on the back of the card I assume) - you speak to GE Capital Bank who run the store card for Debenhams. I was able to cancel on the phone without having to write in or even send back my card, I was told to cut it into three bits and throw it away.
