Remortgage - valuation fee after rejecting offer?

We're about to remortgage (for the first time). I can see some lenders offer free property valuation. But what if you have your property valued by the lender and then reject their offer? Would they still pick up the tab for the valuation? Or does it depend on the lender?

You would need to check with the lender, however I would expect that it being free would be conditional on the mortgage being taken.0
