Hi
We are flying out from Dublin airport soon and was wondering if anyone had any recommendations on where to park?

This is the only place I ever use and if it's a very early flight stay over. Secure covered underground parking and 24/7 shuttle to the airport which is only a few minutes away https://www.claytonhoteldublinairport.com/airport-parking/

I always use holiday blue no matter how short a time I’m away for. There’s a bus every 15 minutes. You can pay with your card at the gate or cheaper on line if you book at least a day before.

  • I’ve used both blue and Clayton.

Neither are within walking distance from the airport and you need to take a bus to them. Clayton is covered parking whilst Blue is not covered and it’s very gravelly - as in you can’t wheel your case over it and it ends up covered in dust. But the bus for the blue car park is really regular whilst the bus for Clayton is every half hour. Which can feel like a long time at 2am - though you can always get a taxi. Lastly there is quite an awkward junction to get to Clayton from the M1. But there is a garage right next door where you can buy a coffee to keep you going on the way home.

In summary check both out and see which is cheaper and then choose according to your other criteria! We’ve used Clayton the past few times because we once came back to the Blue car park to find our car had been used as a bird toilet, but i think that was just a stroke of bad luck, I’d use it again.

I've managed to get a cheaper advance booking deal on the short stay parking at Dublin before... Not as cheap as some of the other options, but literally just a short walk to the terminal. I thought the cost was a good trade for the convenience.

I've also used the Clayton when flight timing was such that it made sense to travel down the night before. That was fairly trouble free.
